Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Creation of all original graphics and video

  • Drafting of all external communication copy

  • Management of all official social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram

  • Management of office email program, including the newsletter, event emailing, and press release distribution

Results:

  • Instagram: Added nearly 10,000 new followers from scratch

  • Twitter: Added nearly 40,000 new followers from scratch

  • Newsletter: Added nearly 10,000 subscribers from scratch

FreedomWorks & FreedomWorks Foundation

Digital Marketing Coordinator

Timeline: March, 2017 - December, 2020

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Drafting of post copy for Instagram & Facebook pages messages to federal lawmakers

  • Creation, filming, editing, and/or production of over a dozen videos per week

  • Data analysis and performance optimization

  • Full creation and management responsibilities for official TikTok account

  • Full creation and management responsibilities for Instagram (starting in mid-2018)

  • Primary management responsibilities for Facebook (starting in early-2019)

Results: 

  • Facebook

    • Reach: Nearly 900 million total reach from 2018 to 2020​

    • Reach-to-Engagement Rate: Increase from 11.5% in 2018 to 16.8% in 2020

  • Instagram​

    • Follower Growth: 3,600 in 2018 to nearly 164,000 in 2020

    • Reach-to-Engagement Rate: Increase from 7.2% in 2018 to 10.4% in 2020​

  • TikTok

    • Follower Growth: ​Increase from >1,000 in January, 2020 to nearly 10,000 in December, 2020

    • Views: Generated over 2.7 million views (organic) between January, 2020 and December, 2020
