Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Built Digital Campaign Plan

  • Drafted copy used on awareness landing pages, Lawmaker Contact pages, Digital Ad Graphics

  • Coordinated execution of Campaign Plan with AFP, Design Team, and external vendors

  • Created initial drafts of 1st round of ad graphics and provided rapid-editing assistance in later graphics

FIRST STEP Act Lawmaker Contact Campaign

Timeline: January - December, 2018

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Drafted and distributed dozens of action emails to hundreds of thousands of activists driving messages to federal lawmakers

  • Drafted and published Lawmaker Contact page

  • Drafted and published dozens of social media posts driving messages to lawmakers

  • Produced and promoted dozens of livestreams and videos with policy leaders on multiple platforms supporting FIRST STEP Act

Results: 

  • 560,000+ messages driven to federal lawmakers

  • 450,000+ video views generated

  • FIRST STEP Act (S. 756) signed into law

  • Produced and promoted dozens of livestreams and videos with policy leaders on multiple platforms promoting Right-to-Try legislation

Results: 

  • 500,000+ messages driven to federal lawmakers

  • Federal Right-to-Try Act (S. 204) signed into law
